About me

I am a post-doctoral researcher at INRIA Saclay in Orsay, France. I am working as a member of the OAK team with Ioana Manolescu & François Goasdoué on building flexible, and scalable RDF stores.

I received my PhD from INRIA Saclay & University of Paris-Sud in September 2015, under the supervision of Ioana Manolescu & François Goasdoué. I worked mainly on RDF query optimization for producing highly parallelizable plans for massively parallel processing frameworks.

Previously, I have worked as an intern in the same team (former LEO) dealing with the efficient management of web resources in a P2P environment for the completion of my M.Sc. diploma. During my B.Sc., and half of my M.Sc., studies at the Computer Science Department (CSD) of the University of Crete (UOC), I have been working as a member of the Information Systems Laboratory (ISL) of FORTH-ICS under the supervision of Yannis Tzitzikas with main subject the visualisation of semantic information.
